FIOS IS ALMOST AT CHELSEA TOWER:
On 28 July 2011 Mr. Dave Hoffsis, FIOS Business Development Manager, for Verizon made a presentation to the Board at the monthly Board Meeting. All units will be made FIOS ready. He proposed a possible Marketing Agreement between Verizon and Chelsea Tower. More details are available on the *Board Meeting Minutes page. Under any circumstances, whether a Marketing Agreement is reached or not (dependent on several issues, including the CT ByLaws) FIOS will be available to all units in the near future. Other providers (Comcast, Direct TV, etc) will also be available. Competition is a wonderful thing.

Gordon Brown is active and providing us good information. One thing upsets Gordon; he gets really ticked off about the situation with respect to cardboard boxes. I am in complete agreement with him, and I believe that he is speaking for all of the residents of CT. His comments are given on the Cardboard Boxes and Recycling Page (along with some jokes that I like). In addition, he recently he told us about the visit of a Montgomery County Police Officer to CT. The officer gave a very interesting and informative talk on our personal safety. A detailed report was prepared by Gordon Brown. His complete report is available on the Police Advice Page under Gordon's Musings.

The Report on the Monthly Meeting (27 October) of the Chelsea Tower Board and Owners
A detailed report is given on the *Board Meeting Minutes page, located in the *Residents Only section. This page requires a PASSWORD to be read by all Residents. If you don’t have a PASSWORD and are a Resident (Owner or Renter) please send an email to the WebMaster and he will provide one to you. This meeting discussed the Budget for 2012, potential changes to the key system for Chelsea Tower, changes in the operations of the Parking Policy, and the dealings with Verizon-Fios.
GORDON’S MUSINGS:
Gordon Brown, a resident of Chelsea Towers, has a long experience with columns, newsletters and other printed materials. In addition he has a clear and focused eye, along with a wry sense of humor. It is our good fortune to publish his Musings from time to time. This time he has mused about the state of recycling at Chelsea Tower. In addition, he has some discussion about the Lobby Committee, which he suggested be formed. We have the good fortune to have him serve on the committee. He will enjoy receiving your comments about his musings, or any other thoughts you may have.
